The project is from my Design Project class at Insearch/ semester 3. In this project, I have the opportunity to explore a concepts through a series of 5 A2 poster from a design problem and that is Food Waste.
Food wasting, when triggered widely, would eventually lead to the waste of our time, property and money. It will also affect our environment, creating pollution and destroy our planet. This project includes a series of 5 posters with different concepts about food waste. The series contains a combination of visual images and typography that’s self-explanatory to enable easier understanding of the message that’s being conveyed. One of the messages emphasised is that food is delighting and people love it, but they always end up throwing excess leftovers into the bin. Another messages emphasised is that the amount of money for the food people throwing can be used to paid energy bills.
The poster series also follows the idea of infographics, showcasing information through visual diagrams, texture and the interaction of vibrant colours to enhance visual attractiveness.
